Do you plan to watch the Olympics this summer?

In August the 2008 Olympics will begin in Beijing. Beijing has been preparing for these Olympic games, developing its stadiums, cities and commerce for several years.

Years ago, it seemed that many waited with great excitement and anticipation of the Olympic games. So, as the 2008 Games grow closer, we are curious, do you plan to watch the games this summer?

Yes- but not as interested as usual (28.7%)

Yes- can't wait! (40.7%)

No (11.8%)

Not sure- depends on what else is on (18.7%)

    I may not have time to watch all of the events but will likely catch some of them.

    We watch as a family and keep a medal count. Everyone really gets into it. We all pick our faves and root for them. The opening ceremony always brings me to tears, and when we medal and they play the anthem, I feel so proud!

    I was going to watch the Olympics until they removed women's softball. I can think of other sports they could have eliminated but they chose a woman's sport. How sad. I do applaud the other athletes but when they start removing excellent sports that serve as great roles for girls, I get a bit distressed.

    Wow, I didn't realize that there was actually 'buzz' out ther about the Olympics. Personally I could care less...

    I am very excited. I watched it with my family when I was a child, and I will do the same with my children.
