I don't own a pair of these personally but my daughter has several pairs. I think it is fabulous that someone in another country is able to have a pair of shoes based on your purchase. Though the cost as much as two pair! I find them very unattractive. She wore them to the zoo this weekend and by the end of the day could no longer walk because they hurt her feet. The bonus is that charity has now become fashion. The negative is the cost, style and comfort!.

toms are so comfortable but unfortunately they don't last very long. They wear down pretty quick on the bottom of the heel.

I love the idea of Toms and the cause that they support with their money. However I do find the shoes are very expensive for how simple they are and I have not been able to own a pair because of this.

The idea behind TOMs shoes is great and I appreciate their mission. However, their inability to make their product sustainable for the people they are helping is frustrating to me. What do the kids do after they grow out of or wear out the shoes? I will not buy TOMs any more because of this.

Toms are great but they do make your feet stink! They are very comfortable and they lasted a long time for me. They arent great for kids though,....kids are too rough on them.

I just bought my first pair at the beginning of this summer. They're already quite worn. I suppose for the amount of walking I do, it might be typical as these seem to be a more leisurely shoe type. I'd like to see them be manufactured "tighter" as in: can they last more than 3 months under stress?

I think the shoes are very adorable and comfortable, but with a toddler wearing them they do not last long. My daughter tore hers up within a few weeks from just general play at her school.

TOMS are ok, I like that they have so many different styles now and that they are affordable and relatively durable/comfortable. My only complaint is that they are kind of ugly and also make your feet stink because the insole is made of cheap materials which are not breathable.

I think the idea of this philanthropy is a good one; however, there are other companies like Bobs from Sketchers that has the same mission at a more affordable price. Also, I used to have two pairs of the original canvas shoes, but after washing, they drastically shrunk and began to fray. Not the best quality for the price.

I bought a pair of these for my friends daughter last Christmas, I will probably not purchase another pair again.I appreciate that they are cute and trendy, and also charitable. However on the downside they are very cheaply made and fall apart very easily, now if my friends 10 year old daughters Toms lasted her 2 months in an Indiana summer, how long do you think they lasted the little girl in Africa?

I love the way they look personally but its just so expensive. The material feels cheap. I am happy its for charity and another child gets shoes but I feel the company is making way more than enough money. I would buy these again but only when I see them on sale.

Recently read up about how these are made in China. Not only do they advertise as going to a great cause but they donate shoes for every purchase. Great quality and nice idea but upsets me that yet another company is outsourcing so much work.

Toms are very nice and comfortable and I love them when I am working. However, they are not the best when it rains or when they start to get wore, because they start to unravel. Toms have a great program that I love. If you purchase one pair another pair is donated to someone in need.

I am a Tom shoes lover! I bought a few pairs for my children and I. They are very comfortable and cute(especially on little toes)! They do unravel and dont look so cute once they start to wear. I am still a fan and buy them as gifts for family and friends often!

These shoes look cute on kids but questionable on adults. They are comfortable if you don't have a narrow foot. I do like how they are coming out with different styles but just not for me. Great for kids!
