Although Toms can be quite pricey, I love the designs and durability offered by the brand. Also the one for one is a fantastic concept and I'm happy to have seen other companies try and follow this example. All the Toms brand shoes I have bought for my fiance and myself over the years have lasted us way longer than expected. They are surprisingly tough for such thinly made shoes, and comfy I may add.

I will be perfectly honest when I say that I, myself, am not a huge fan of the cost nor the look of Toms shoes. However, with that being said, my daughter absolutely LOVES them! My daughter has an extremely wide foot and unfortunately it is difficult to find comfortable shoes for her. This is the first shoe that she wears without complaints. Therefore I don't mind paying the extra because its been rough trying to find comfortable shoes for her!!

I am a Tom shoes lover! I bought a few pairs for my children and I. They are very comfortable and cute(especially on little toes)! They do unravel and dont look so cute once they start to wear. I am still a fan and buy them as gifts for family and friends often!

Toms are very nice and comfortable and I love them when I am working. However, they are not the best when it rains or when they start to get wore, because they start to unravel. Toms have a great program that I love. If you purchase one pair another pair is donated to someone in need.

Recently read up about how these are made in China. Not only do they advertise as going to a great cause but they donate shoes for every purchase. Great quality and nice idea but upsets me that yet another company is outsourcing so much work.

I love the way they look personally but its just so expensive. The material feels cheap. I am happy its for charity and another child gets shoes but I feel the company is making way more than enough money. I would buy these again but only when I see them on sale.

I bought a pair of these for my friends daughter last Christmas, I will probably not purchase another pair again.I appreciate that they are cute and trendy, and also charitable. However on the downside they are very cheaply made and fall apart very easily, now if my friends 10 year old daughters Toms lasted her 2 months in an Indiana summer, how long do you think they lasted the little girl in Africa?

Sure Toms are pricey but I imagine that has to make room for producing more shoes for the Buy One Donate One philosophy. They are really trendy so that's a plus! As far as comfort goes? These shoes are what I believe happens when a cloud and a hug get together and have a shoe baby.

Shoes quality is long term. worth paying for. Had this shoes for about maybe 3-4 years now and they are still in good condition.

I love toms! You can wear them with almost everything and they are so cute!

I dont like how they are over priced shoes with cheap looking material that can get soaked and also that id prefer to wear socks with them I hate sweatty feet lol...I rather pay cheap ones that look exactly alike

I appreciate the mission behind Toms shoes however, it is hard to bring myself to overpay for them as they are not cute at all and lack the proper materials you would expect when paying for them.

I think the idea of this philanthropy is a good one; however, there are other companies like Bobs from Sketchers that has the same mission at a more affordable price. Also, I used to have two pairs of the original canvas shoes, but after washing, they drastically shrunk and began to fray. Not the best quality for the price.

The concept of One for One is a great one. Once consumers realize their purchase goes toward a greater good, they are willing to pay extra for a simple pair of shoes. Honestly, they are not that comfortable. The irony is that in the case of TOMS, everyone who sees the tag on the shoes knows you gave to the cause, so it is a very public form of giving -- which is a new sort of status symbol, which I believe has contributed to TOMS popularity.

My Toms are so incredibly comfortable. I love how the company gives a pair of shoes for each that you purchase. Companies that Give Back like that always rate very high for me. Great quality shoes, wonderful quality company!
