Easter Candy is a favorite. My sister's birthday is April 5th so always near Easter, Every year no matter what I buy for her gift she is always more excited about the egg shaped bubble gum balls that I always include.
REESE’S are my familly's favorite! I always get my children each a 6pack of REESE’S eggs.
In our 50s and 60s my sister comes over after service for a special ham dinner. We still dye eggs and put together baskets for each other and my husband. Reese's is his favorite. Of course I set aside treats for all the grandkids too.
I don't celebrate Easter but I love Spring, put out flowers.
Easter Egg hunts are the best!
Every Easter season, I buy one Cadbury egg to enjoy with no guilt!
When my kids were little I would sit all their stuffed animals on the couch the night before and tell them they came out to visit the Easter Bunny!
We make a family dinner
We have been hunting Easter eggs early on Easter morning, before church, since my daughter was old enough to walk. We continued the tradition until her brother came along 7 1/2 years later. They still want to hunt eggs, even though they are now 24 and 16. We have added a son in law and two tiny girls to the mix of cousins and grandparents. They love the thrill of the hunt and out doing each other. My 82 year old mother in law is the one that fills the eggs and hides them. She is sure every year they will outgrow the activity, but not so far. The care free time and laughter is one of my most favorite times.
Family dinner and giving thanks.
