Did you know that nearly 1 in 5 girls have missed school because they can’t afford period protection? It’s not just school they miss. It also means missing out on activities they love, like sports practices, drama club, or student council.
At puberty, girls’ confidence plummets, and having to miss activities because of lack of access to period products only makes this drop in confidence worse. Missing out can limit a girl’s potential and opportunities far beyond puberty.
We’re so excited to support Always & Walmart's Live #LikeAGirl campaign to spread the word about this important issue as they work to #EndPeriodPoverty. Always and Walmart are donating a year’s supply of period products to 50 teams in 50 states, so girls in need don’t have to miss out on the activities they love because they don’t have access to period protection.

This is a wonderful thing Walmart is doing for young girls, especially for the ones who can't afford personal products for themselves. Bravo to Walmart!
I'm glad to see so many people who care!! I had mo idea thid was even a problem so sad kids have to worry about this.
Its a great campaign. I just wish for one such campaign like this in the rural places of India (my country) where many needs to be educated about menstural hygiene and safety measures to be carried during the cycle, as there are many people who maybe due to poverty or due to lack of knowledge avoid taking measures. As much as possible i try to educate people when i go to rural trips to talk to people but I sincerely which someone could handle a big campaign where we can reach more people and educate them
Such an amazing giveaway
it is a shame that more companies and organizations do not donate to these causes. they have the resources. these products should not be that expensive either.
Great
Sad situation for the girls but glad there's help for them. #LikeAGirl
