my mom does everything for others before herself
My mom has given me so much I cannot even begin at what she has given me in this life. She has loved all of her kids more than any mom I know of. She is still fighting the good fight, this time for my nephew and I can only hope to be like her in my life. She is an inspiration that is for sure. I am very lucky to have her as a mom.
I totally am not promoting hitting kids but when I was probably 17, I was a SNOT, I was being really jerkish to my mom and my mom never raised her voice or touched me and seemed to just take it. I was very disrespectful to her and she slapped me across the face. I learned more that day than any other day to treat my mom with the respect she deserved. She was always so even keeled I wish I was more like she was with my kids. I think she did a great job raising me and now 16 years later she is my best friend
Everything my Momma ever said to me made an impact, but a very good one. Taught me everything I needed to know to be a good person and a great mom.
I'm a very indecisive person and have a lot of trouble making decisions even about trivial things. My mom once told me to go with my first instinct and trust it. I tried that a few times and it has worked every time!! Now it's very easy for me to make decisions and I trust that the results will be great!
my mom left us last year but i can still hear her tell me after every breakup " Chin up princess your tiara's falling"
My mom has always put me first and has so much for me. She has help me achieve my dreams of being an engineer and has provide me with wonderful wisdom.
My Mom always encourage us to do the right thing. She encourage us to speak up but to do so respectfully.
My mom taught me "don't judge a person until you walked a mile in their shoes" I try to distill this in my kids everyday! I try to teach my 4 kids that no matter what you should never judge or make fun of someone. I am currently expecting #5 in August and I hope to continue to teach all my kids this. My oldest (she is 9) came to me about a month ago telling me that there is this new girl at her school that no one will be friends with because she talks weird. I Asked my daughter what did she do and she told me that she didn't care what other people say she became her friend and sat with her at lunch. They are now best friends. It brought tears to my eyes and made me so happy to see what I have been teaching my kids come to life. It's the best feeling in the world. I will continue to take my moms advice and push not only my kids but also myself to live by it.
she is the best person
I use my mom's phrase "Let's cut out the middleman and pour the milk directly on the floor" when kids are being careless while pouring drinks!
My mom is always there for us, whether its just babysitting or advice or otherwise. We know we can count on her!
My mother is my role model and my best friend. she is hilarious and outgoing like me.
My mom is special because she is so loving and devoted to her family! I hope that it rubs off on me even just a little so I can treat my kids and grandkids as good as her!
My mother has many super powers...I think the one I inherited was her ability to be completely stubborn lol. My mom is the most important in my life, next to my spouse. If it wasn't for her I would have never gotten sober. This year marks six years for me. Her words were short and to the point. "Come home, but you will not drink here". She was hard on me, the whole situation was hard. But she never gave up on me and that makes her amazing. She never gives up on me.
