I have one moving back in looking for work which makes for extra storage in garage and closets. We are cleaning and clearing items out, but it is temporary so we are coping.

I am reorganizing my office and closet so out goes the things not used in a year.

I use a list and clean up the area for that set time. Then reorganize the week before New Years.

While putting decorations and gifts away, this is always a good time to get rid of items that are no longer used or needed. Also is great time to reorganize the garage!!

I use the time as an opportunity to go through everything and donate what we can. Love starting the new year somewhat organized.

I put my teenage daughter to work! :D

I use my time off work to clean the house good. I go through and get rid of some old clothes to make way for the new. Freeze some holiday goodies so we don't eat them all at once. And get some organizing bins to put away the decorations!
