I tell you one thing...I will for sure be using my "Swiffer"!!
I am purging my closet and donating anything I have not worn in a year!
I wash curtains, throw blankets and rugs, and scrub floors and deep clean the bathrooms - but ONLY after all of the Christmas stuff is put away. Too daunting of a task to clean up, take decorations down and also do heavy cleaning. But it does feel good to have a clean house in January.
I put everything in the trash, mopped the tile floors, ripped out the carpet, and there is nothing left to clean! Waiting for my hubby to put in wood floors where the carpet use to be.

I call on my nephews to pitch in to help me
I really need to go through my closet and sort through the many sizes there!
We all pitch in as a family and get to work!!
I start to move everything the morning after the Holiday...no more mess
my house just got messier , i had a baby this week!!!! i expect my house will be clean again in 18 years!!!
I usually gather all of my cousins to help out with the clean up. Each cousin has their own responsibility and we all work together to get the process done efficiently.
I just spend a lot of time and elbow grease getting everything cleaned up and put away!
I use this time of the year to do an inventory of my life and that includes items in my home. I go through my belongings, setting aside items that I no longer need. I often bring those items to Good Will or Salvation Army If it a valuable item I take a picture and list it to sell on a local Facebook resale page.Doing this several times through out the year helps to keep my house free of excess clutter.
Hire a cleaning service!!!
I am trying to go through a stack of old magazines. The recycleman is going to love my bin when I'm done!
