Makes: 4 servings
Description: My mom used to make this when I was growing up and I make it for my family. I don't know where she found this recipe.
Ingredients:
1lb
ground beef
1 can
old fashion vegetable soup
1pkg
brown gravy mix
4-5
potatoes
3T
margarine
1/2C
cheese
Instructions: Brown and drain ground beef. Add soup and gravy mix. Transfer to casserole dish and set aside. Peel and cut up potatoes, cover with water and boil 10-15 minutes until tender. Drain. Mash potatoes adding margarine, cheese and enough milk to make them creamy. Cover meat with potatoes and place in 350 oven for about 20 untill potatoes are lightly browned.
Make this your next Thanksgiving centerpiece. Roasting at high temperatures keeps the bird moist and it's done in half the time!
