Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers made EASY !

Makes: 10 servings

Description: I host parties. A LOT of them. It's one of my favorite things because it allows me to have friends and family over and it makes me happy. Sometimes I just have an appetizer party. One of my new favorites to make is Jalapeno Poppers. Here's my recipe...I hope that you enjoy it; my guests and I do!

1  lb of Bacon (real bacon, not turkey bacon)
1  Package of Softened Cream Cheese
1  8 oz Package of shredded Colby/Jack cheese
1  lb of jalapeno peppers

Instructions: Preheat oven to 400.
Next, slice the jalapenos in half length-wise.Scoop out the membrane and the seeds.Once done with that, soak the peppers in water for 20-30 minutes. This takes away some of the heat so everyone can enjoy the peppers.
While the peppers are soaking in the water, combine the cream cheese and the shredded cheese in a bowl and put the side for later.
Then, cut the bacon into pieces big enough to completely wrap around the jalapeno at least once. When you are finished with that, drain water off of jalapenos completely. Use the cheese mixture to fill in the peppers and try to keep mixture in the cavity of the pepper. Do Not overfill.
When done filling peppers, wrap them with bacon and then place on a cookie sheet & pop into the oven. The peppers are done when the bacon is completely cooked.Take peppers out and let sit enough for them to cool off; hot melted cheese put into your mouth is no bueno !
Once and enjoy !!
