on Dec 11, 2025: Is anyone surprised by this? Food is up, insurance is up, utilities are up. No amount of insisting the economy is good is going to erase that.

on Aug 14, 2025: I'm fine with store brands and generics for some things, but there are some non-negotiables (Philly cream cheese for example). I search for sales and stock up on the sales items; I'll be flexible with menus based on what's on sale.
