we love Honey and buy it all the time ,but we buy it from locals.
They say that if you have allergies, take a spoonful of honey ( harvested locally) each day to ease your symptoms. This is supposed to build up a resistence to hay fever.
i've never known that honey can be used as an ingredients in home remedies until i recently started youtubing & researching the web because i'm getting over the makeup splurge & now moving onto skincare.

honey has many antiseptic properties along with tasting great. It can be used as a skin smoother and softener. It also keeps almost indefinately without spoiling.
we use honey for cough..... i heard it works. i never really tried it though.

I use it in tea, on cereal. I bake bread with it. Honey is great on biscuits.
