It is an eye-opener to me to REALLY understand how many things I can do without! A stay-at-home woman, I do not need new clothes.. have enough to last a long time. I try to cook from scratch and am actually heqalthier buying less meat. My true symapthies go out to growing families who are trying to feed and clothe children who go through everything so fast! With money tight, I am living a simpler, and happier, life.

It is going to be a slim Christmas. My kids are not going to get as much as they did in the past years also there is no going to buy new clothes or anything everything goes for bills and food. Its pretty sad.

I'm cutting back on some junk food from the grocery store. Prices are getting way too high & we can do without some of the items we used to enjoy. Our money will go towards heating bills and other living expenses.

I wish they had "all of the above", because that is what I am doing. We are lucky if we can pay the mortgage and util much less buy food on my unemployment check.

I have been struggling most of my life I was expecting this most of my married life....The same thing happened before the depression. Too many people entering our country and taking our jobs. Getting food stamps, free housing, free educations, welfare all at our expense!!!!!! While for many people born in America the economy slowly got tougher and tougher And the government has been allowing companies, the American people helped create, to move to other nations for cheaper employees. The government is being run by many blind people. I am a disabled person and have been for over 25 and because of this my husband works two full time jobs. Once in our history we only needed one income to life a nice life. lasever

I will be very cost conscious. Not spending furiously. I will definitely not buying on impulse, but taking time to determine if each purchase is a need or want to have.

I am really only buying what we need and definitely becoming creative at meal time. As long as my kids don't feel the impact, I am ok with doing whatever we need to do to make it through this.
