Which of these Mother's Day gifts would make you happiest this year?

Mother's Day is almost here.   Did you know that Mother's Day was conceived after the Civil War and initially intended as a call to unite women against war?   Mother's Day in the US has transformed into a day to give thanks to our mothers.

Which of the following gifts would you want to receive most this Mother's Day?

A day spent with your family/children (41.5%)

A day at the spa (40.5%)

Flowers (4.9%)

Chocolate (2.9%)

Jewelry (10.2%)

I need some me time which I haven't had in a while. So the spa would be good since I know my family will be waiting at home for me anyways.

I am only a mom because of my family, and I really would rather spend the day with them, undivided. No phone, well, maybe a few, no television, no computer (which would almost kill me). Just a day with a late morning sleep in session with me and my family, a pancake breakfast (ok maybe oatmeal), lots of coffee, a picnic lunch at the park, a light dinner that we have at the grandparents house, and a peaceful evening at home playing games.

Would I like the other things, oh yeah, but mostly I want my family.

I dont work right now so I spend all day with my kids and I love it but I think I deserve a day at the spa and then come home to my kids and husband and spend the rest of the day and night.

My son will be home from college soon so I will have many days alone with him. The last holiday I spent with my husband before his passing was Mother's Day. I'd love the luxury of relaxing and being pampered before all the chaos begins again.

I would love to have a day at the spa I spend all my time raising my kids and a little pampering would be a wonderful thing for me.

I raised 3 children and now I'm having the time of my life with my 5 grandchildren! I still work full-time and am very active in the community. I make a point of telling my kids that if they are ever wondering what to get me, a day at the spa would always be GREATLY appreciated!!

Spending time w/my family is important don't get me wrong. I do it daily...I would love an entire day for me.. right now I don't get any. Even after the kids are in bed I'm still doing mommy stuff..cleaning/making lunches etc. It would be nice to have a whole day of "me" time instead of a few mins at the end of the day.
