there is nothing wrong with "staycations"... makes you appreciate your locale, better for the enviroment (less gas), easier on the bod with less packing plus my 3 dogs get so hyper when we are gone for an extended period it makes you feel bad when we return. I did put more money into my homes landscaping and yard care now that it is the last of our "haven's".

I wish I could splurge endlessly like in the past....but this year we may or may not be going away. My husband is from the UK and hope to still get there to see his family-I know he's eager to do so! The flights alone aren't cheap even though we'll have a place to stay!!! Although we're still fairly young and have no kids so I've also been encouraged by others to "do it NOW" and have fun before life takes over. So we'll have to see.

We are also victims of layoffs - both my me and my husband. There will be no traveling this summer! We will be staying local and camping. My family loves to camp. It's inexpensive, fun and outdoors!

Staying close to the homefront and doing more things geared toward locally! We will be exploring our state instead of going out-of-state! Should be interesting!
