I try to make sure my children eat as healthy as possible. If my 4 year old asks for something he's seen on tv I am usually not going to buy it for him. I don't want him to want food that he's seen on tv because it looks "fun".
Being a non-cooker, i look for products that are healthy yet simple to prepare. I look over the ingredients and try to buy low-sodium and not too spicy foods. I wish more micro-wave meals had fewer preservatives, sodium & potassium. quality shopper
I like to fix delicious meals that are low in fat and healthy for the kids and my husband. We eat a lot of chicken and not much red meat. I put trust in well known brands when the nutritional information meets my expectations.
Surviving Cancer patient:
I've learned what it took to get me where I was...as far as cancer was concerned! It's true what they say, "You Are What You Eat!"
I had eaten all of the wrong foods, especially "junk foods", and it had finally caught up with
me! Now I listen a little more to my (Holistic) doctor.
It took, natural herbs, fresh vegetables & fruits, and of course
The Creator, to bring me back to
life; I was truly on the way out!
It pays to listen...Eat Healthy!
I love to find something that is quick and great tasting! I try new items that I have heard are tasty and easy to prepare.
I do believe you are what you eat. I look for foods with minimal proccessing. I always buy the whole grain products and read the ingredients when I have to buy processed. I make sure my family eats a lot of fresh fruits and veggies. I do not want to buy food with a lot of additives, sugar, salt and dyes in them. How is it good for you when there are so many chemicals in it?
tv influences my choices to some degree but since i am generally sceptical i am forever checking out the claims they make and making sure that i am not just going with the popular thing.
samples help me make most of my choices if I can try a product I am more intrested in the purchase. I do see some things on tv but I allways go try thwm out.
Nutritional information is a big influce for me while buying the product.
I like to try out new foods-and sometimes it is from seeing it on tv--but more often than not, whenever I buy food at the store, it is because it's something that we already eat-or something that I think my family will like--or something I'll need to make a meal.
