What early steps, if any, do you take to prep for Thanksgiving?

With Holidays ruling the end of the year, how do you manage to keep sane?

I decorate my house for Thanksgiving (47.6%)

I buy the turkey before the prices triple (39.1%)

I start prepping the old secret family recipe(s) (30.0%)

I don't take early steps... I wait until the last minute (27.1%)

What early steps, if any, do you take to prep for Thanksgiving?

    I love to decorate my place early because it gives us the sence that we started celebrating the holidays.

    I love to decorate my house for Fall, but Thanksgiving is a time I spend with friends and not family. I love my family and spend Christmas, but we are a military family and we have developed special friendships that we want to preserve so for Thanksgiving we try to do something different each year by celebrating our friendships in new ways... this year it's Graceland and an Elvis themed dinner! I think the pilgrims would approve.

    I love to decorate for whatever the holiday may be! Fall decorations always make the house feel so warm and welcoming.

    It really depends on my plans for the holiday. If I know I'm having guests over, then I do lots of pre-planning and decorating. If not, then I usually wait til the last minute to decorate or make meal plans.

    I go to my mother-in-laws house so I have nothing to do but be hungry. LOL

    Took Halloween down today and Thanksgiving up!!! My table and centerpiece is already complete!!
