What's your favorite way to "give back?"

    I get so much back when I volunteer once a week at a MS clinic. I always leave feeling good.

    I am a volunteer with the local animal shelter....I think I get more out of taken care of the unwanted animals of my city then the animals go.....just makes me forget about me for a few hours

    I volunteer with the Davidson County, NC Relay for Life. Cancer has touched my life for several years now so it means a lot to do my part in the fight against cancer.

    After reading up on so many sites that scam people out of their money when a natural disaster hites, i decided to go through another approach when helping people out. I donate clothes and food when there are drives around.

    I do all of the above. At Christmas time I cannot pass up the red Salvation Army kettles. They are one of the few organizations where most of your money goes directly for the cause. I also donate alot of good conditon clothes and housewares to Goodwill. Your "trash" is another's "treasure" and it's a great way to "recycle".

    I do all 3 options but mostly donate money to different organizations. I don't have a lot of free time, but when I do volunteer or help sponsor events I leave feeling the most fulfilled!

    I love to volunteer my time if possible, otherwise I give money to organizations that have a good reputation

    I have soo much clothes that when I get something new or just don't wear it anymore there are a couple of family's that I know that don't have money for xrta's such as new clothes so when I give them mine , they say it is like christmas and they are always so happy with them that it makes me happy that they are soo excited about it . I don't mind donating to thrift stores but I shop in them and the prices for the clothing is getting to be really ridiculous, I can't imagine paying 25.00 - 18.00 for something I could get new at the nearest walmart . So I don't do the thrift store thing alot anymore.

    I volunteer at a health clinic as an RN and it feels good to give back.
