    I enjoy giving my time to others. I also donate our unwanted clothing. People helping people - that's the way to go!!

    I volunteer at an emergency food and diaper pantry exclusively for babies and toddlers every Saturday morning. Helping the tininest victims of poverty. I get back so much more than I give! PLUS since my kids are all grown and gone, I get to satisfy my babyitis!!!

    I feel that when you give you volunteer, you truly give of yourself. To participate in the process of what your giving means so much more from a personal perspective. Although all aspects of giving play a pivotal part of the process, anyone who gives of themselves or from what they have, is at least taking part in helping, so I can respect that.

    I love giving my time, money if I have it, clothes or useful items, food, it's so important to me to help in anyway I can I have been on the very fortunate side and on the not so fortunate side, have seen a lot and want to do what I can to help sometimes it's not enough.

    I have a real sense when donating clothing I feel I am helping someone in need while recycling clothing that has more use out of it while creating less waste in the landfills, this is a great way to give back to the community while cleaning up the landfill.

    Although I donate to other charities, I really like to donate to charities for children such as Arkansas Children's Hospital, St. Jude Children's Hospital and the Children's Homes. I also do Christmas gifts for children in need. One thing I would like to be able to do in the future is anonymously leave cash in some needy people's mailboxes at Christmas time (or whenever). This would not only help them financially, but would also renew their faith in people.
