I love MAC and I would love to try other high end products like Nars and Laura Mercier! I just can't afford them. I find great drug store products on sale all the time! I especially love Revlon, WNW, and Rimmel!
I love the sales I can get at drug stores and you can use their coupons on top of maufacturers usually!
I can find everything I need at local stores. I don't think I have to pay $50.00 for lotion when there are so many wonderful brands available from everyday brands. Why spend 100.00 for foundation when L'oreal and Max Factor, even Cover girl, do the same thing for $25.00 or less. I can think of much better things to spend my money on.
I wear anything that works for me. The only thing I'm very particular about is eye shadows and blushes. Drugstore brands (even L'Oreal HIP) aren't pigmented enough for me. NYX is good, but I have to go to ULTA to get it.
I usually purchase my make up at Target, but I will buy with whoever has the best deals!!!
I buy different brand names of makeup that work the best for me in specific category. I only buy Lancome waterproof mascara because I have found that this is best mascara that works for me. I buy Covergirl Simple ageless foundation because that has worked the best for me. So I really shop at many different stores to get what works best for me.
CVS always has great deals, like buy one get one free or 1/2 off.
I am a Wal-Mart shopper and usually by my make-up there, but occassionally I will buy at a CVS or Rite-Aid or Avon
I used to use exclusively clinique and lancome. Times have changed and those are luxuries of the past! I am trying to be smarter about cosmetics and beauty items. I haven't found any that are as good as my old brands, but I keep looking!
I don't wear a lot of makeup so the items I can pickup from Walmart work just fine for me. I do like to go into Sephora and browse and they give you samples of anything you want. So i can take those home and see if it's an item I really like before I buy. Those types of "perks" will keep me coming in and buying more from them.
