I got mine as a wedding gift and LOVE IT!!!!!! there's nothing it cant do. A wonderful product to own.

I got myself and my mom this for Christmas... She was over the moon about it, especially the color ( I got her the red) , was a bit jealous as the red is a very vibrant color in the kitchen. She used her's a couple times and has made bread from scratch is was the best homemade one I've had. Great buy.. Good for a million other uses too! Get it!

THIS IS AN AWSOME MIXER I USE MY MOMS ALOT WHEN I AM AT her house and am saving up to purchase one for my family.

I love my Kitchen Aid! I received it at my bridal shower 14 years ago. Whenever I use it, it make my life so much easier. It is awesome that I can walk away from it to grab the phone or referee my children. I have done so many cooking projects and even my children like working with it. It is a "must have" for any kitchen. It is worth every penny!!

Love this mixer! Great, trustworthy brand. I have memories of my mom using hers to make Swedish pepparkakor cookies and Korv with the sausage attatchment. About a year ago, I purchased the red Pro stand mixer, which came with a flat beater, wire whisk, and dough hook. It has helped me grow as a baker/cook by trying new recipes (beating by hand was not cutting it!) Aside from basic cookies and quick breads, I have made bread dough (Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes a Day) and made ice cream and sorbets with the ice cream maker attatchment (love the Ben & Jerry's recipe book!). I would like to try the pasta maker or other attatchments.

Just got my Kitchenaide mixer about a month ago. Before that I had an old Sunbeam that had just started to fall apart. This one is obviously much more heavy-duty and better made. It's also much quieter. I'm so happy that I made the change.

I have owned a Kitchen aid for 30 years.I recently passed mine on to my sister(the original one) and got another.Bes mixer out there if you bake a lot(I do!!!)

I love mine too! I never used it when I lived alone because I had a small apartment with very limited counter space. But since I moved and we have a big place I use it so much. Hard to believe I went without it for so long. Mine is old! It was my mom's. It's that 70's green color. The cord was bad on it and it kept cutting in and out while she used it. She treated herself to a new white one. She gave me the old one and said that I could have it - and to see if I knew of someone to fix it. Well my friend does electrical work and he spliced on a new cord and it's GOOD AS NEW! These are quality machines built to last. Worth every penny IMO.

My first Kitchen Aid mixer I purchased for $3 at an auction. After cleaning it up, it looked brand new and I used it for another ten years or so. Then my husband bought me my current one, which has more bells and whistles, and it is still going strong another 15 years or so later. It whips cream faster than anything else, grinds, and is a baking workhorse. The only thing I dislike about it is the way flour sprays out when adding. I've learned to work with this, but it still gets me on a fairly regular basis. I have a shoot/guard, but it is more hassle than it's worth. If KA redesigned this particular frustration, I would buy a new mixer.

i just love this mixer which i had one

I have had my Kitchen Aid for 18 years and I LOVE it! It is by far my most used appliance in the kitchen. If mine ever dies I would purchase a new one immediately. My only negative comments are the bottom is not flat so you do have to use a spoon to scrape it and it is heavy. I know on the newer models they changed the bowls so they are now flat on the bottom. I feel this was the best wedding gift ever:)

This mixer is my best kitchen buddy! It makes cooking so much easier! I use to have my husband stir for me and he is quite happy that he no longer has to do this! The mixer does a fantastic job mixing everything together (in record time even on the slower speeds) and it's nice that one can choose different attachments Different stirrers and different grinders). They have a lid you can put on top of it to prevent anything from flying out of the bowl, but I've never had that problem. They only thing is I wish I had gotten the one with a bigger bowl! Love it.

I have had my mixerfor quite some time. I love it and wouldn't be without it. I only wish I would have had one when I was younger when I did alot more baking. I am hoping to purchase one for my 3 girls next Xmas. I have started to save for the ability to do this, just hope I can. I know that they'll love it as I do. The only disadvantage of my mixer is the bowl bottom, It has that edge in it and doesn't quite mix up all the ingredients at the bottom. I always have to mix with a wooden spoon to make sure it is all well mixed. I noticed the newer models are evenly bottom rounded that prevents this from happening. Great Buy! Like have a professional in the kitchen right with you.

I have been wanting one of these and I just got one for this past Christmas! Its so nice and works amazing. I make homemade pizza crust from scratch and it works so well for this along with so many other recipes!

Received the Pro version for Christmas 2009. It is now easier to bake from scratch than purchase a dry expensive cake from a bakery or supermarket.
