I use mine now for almost a year it works great. specially for hardwood flooring and laminate.

I watched my friend clean up after a party with her shark steam mop. In little time and no effort her floors were sparkling with shine. You would have never guessed that 9 kids and a dog were at her house 15 min. ago. I sooo have to get one of these.

Works well Gets out stubborn stains and gets out most hard to reach spots

It is okay. I would prefer more steam as you have to go over and over to get it the floor clean.

Works great on my ceramic and marble tile, but isn't great on the slate in my kitchen. The slate is bumpy with different levels of ridges, therefore, as the mop is a flat pad, it does not have the capability to get into the grooves of the tile or the grout. I have found the best way to clean the slate is with the old fashion rope mop & bucket.

Pleased overall I have been using my Shark Steam Mop for over a year now. Things I like: easy to fill the water chamber, heats quickly, releases a good amount of steam, cord is longer than my last steam mop so I can reach more places, cover is plush and the mop head can flip to use the other side, cover is easy to wash and washes well. Things I don't like: a little hard to put the cover onto the mop head. Overall I really like this mop and it seems to get the floor more clean than sponge mops or swiffers.

Works great! I'm in my second one, cause hard water ruined it. Now I'm using distilled water. Really hot steam cleaning my hardwood floors and no chemicals, perfection.

I love the ease of cleaning my floors with this mop. No detergents required. Cuts through dirt quickly and effectively. The reusable cloths are a plus just drop them in the wash and your done. I wish the handle was a bit firmer.

This is a great steamer, I use it all the time and have not had any issues with it

This is pretty handy to have if you don't like dealing with a mess. The only reason it has 4 stars is that it is not made to handle large (kid) spills or cleanups

Love this steam mop!! Really releases a lot of steam. I've bought 2 because on the first one I used regular tap water and steam wouldn't come out after a couple of months. Second one I've had for over a year and works perfect , I only use bottle water in it. Really recommend if you want to disinfect without any harsh chemicals.

Great steam mop This steam mop works miracles. Always seems to pick up something! Love that it doesn't require chemicals, but i wish i had the option to add in a little something to make it smell extra fresh! easy to use. Heats up very quickly. Love that it comes with two reusable pads!

I love that the pads are reusable just through them in the wash and no buying multiple replacements. I love using it on my hard wood floors ut picks up so much and makes then shine.

Interested in steam mops? Start here For people with full-time jobs and hardwood floors who are just starting out with this "adulting" thing, the Shark Steam Mop is an amazing investment. It works well on hardwood floors and smooth laminate, but I gave it a 4 our of 5 because this is not the end-all of steam mops. My kitchen linoleum is textured, and this just does not seem to get the dirt out of those uneven areas without unreasonable effort. However, this was the mop that introduced me to steam-cleaning and it would be a great easy-to-use beginner mop for people who are trying to figure out if they would like a pricier model but are unsure if steam-cleaning is right for them.

Really easy to use. I use on the lock and groove wood laminate floors. Will sometimes leave streaks on the floor. Does get the floor wet but dries really quickly.
