This movie was so well done. Very touching and certainly gets you thinking! It was cute and made me laugh! Very good acting! A great feel-good movie I highly recommend to others!

I loved the way the story is told without showing tons of violence. It shows the quiet strength of the women who lived through this time and the courage they had to make it in life. Well done!!!

I absolutely loved this movie & so glad to see it nominated it so many catagories. I'm really hoping it wins it all. I feel this is a must see movie because the acting is tremendous. The movie is eye opening, it's touching & funny. I definitely will watch this movie over and over.

I read the book before I saw the movie and I am glad I did. Sometimes reading the book beforehand can kind of leave a sour taste in your mouth after you watch the film because as we all know, books have to be altered for a screenplay. I was pleased to see the director followed along with the story in the book and didn't add any outlandish scenes for the sake of drama in the movie. In saying that, the book and the movie jive with one another. Overall, the movie was a hit! I went to the movie theaters and saw this with a number of my girlfriends and we all loved it. To see such a sensitive topic portrayed in screen so graciously with a bump of humor here and there was fabulous. I loved seeing the characters I grew to enjoy on paper, come to life on screen, with such heart and power by the actresses and actors who played them. The film teaches a valuable lesson to all those who care to watch it and creates a strong reminder of what life was like for the many women and men who lived in the south. This is without a doubt a movie I would recommend to anyone and everyone who is looking to watch a movie that has heart and above all some substance. Great flick! A must see if you have not done so yet!

This movie was a great depiction of the way it was in the south. I thought it was well played and true to form. The actors did a great job executing the performances and I don't think you could have picked a better cast. There are many lessons to be learned in this movie and Karma is one of them.

I really enjoyed the movie and thought the acting was brilliant. However, I did find it a little off-putting that the only Black person who was not a good guy was never seen on camera.

I'd give this a 10/5 if I could. The movie was great. Great acting and a great story. I LOVED the book. For those of you who have yet to read it, pick up a copy, borrow a copy or download a copy, its a worthwhile read. I didn't want to put it down and I didn't want the book to end. I'm hoping that all the Academy Awards its in, they win!

I absolutely LOVED this movie. I can't remember liking a movie so much that I purchased it. I could watch this over and over. I read the book and loved it as well. It was real, it was honest, it was funny, it was sad, it made me reflective. The acting was superb and if it doesn't take home a boat load of awards, then those making the award decisions need to get a life.

I read the book first and it was such a great book with details I just had to buy the movie. The movie goes by the book in all aspects and I would like for this movie to win.

I don't go to the movies much but I had to go see this movie because of it's reviews by friends. It was wonderful! I laughed, I cried and I cheered! This was definitely a 5 star movie.

I loved this movie, although i was more fond of the book (like always) I have to say the movie was so good!!! Very eye opening and inspirational!!

After reading the book and then watching the movie, I have to say it was one of the best movies that I have seen in a long time. For those of us who did not grow up during that time, it really gives a wonderful perspective as to how people were treated because of the color of their skin. And how ignorant white people were towards black people.

I vote "The Help" as the best movie of the year! The wit an d humor were fantastic, but gave an insight to what really happened to those folks back in the day! Will be a movie I will watch over & over!

I loved this movie! It stayed very true to the book. It had very funny moments and also moments that made me cry. The actors were wonderful, and the plot was well written.

I wanted to find fault with this movie since there was so much buzz about it. Some things are popular because they're good and this is a great example. Wonderful movie for the WHOLE family. It's not often I can watch a movie that my mom will also love. Teaches so many wonderful lessons and reminds us all that it wasn't long ago that our reality was much different.
