I loved this movie got me thinking of how the help was treated ,yet there was a funny side also, especialy the part with the sh@ pie. so great story line characters and actors were awesome.

I really enjoyed this movie! Not quite as much as the book, but it was very good.

My daughter's and I really loved this movie, since seeing it we have been searching out books and trying to find other movies that are similar. A great look at the way things were back then.

Thoroughly entertaining while keeping the same great message the book had. The acting was wonderful & believable. Just an extraordinary movie I could watch over & over again.

Excellent cast & script that stays true to the book. My college-aged daughters loved it as well. It is a good history lesson for everyone.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It was very well done and had equal amounts of drama, excitement, and humor. Being bi-racial, I could identify with both the black and white at some point or other. Being raised black I mostly identified with the black people in the film. I was born in the late 40's so I am still too young to know about some of this since I was not raised in the South. I was however sent to the south to help my Aunts out for the summer as a teenager and I hated it. Kudos to those who got nominated! Congrats to those who won! Loved the movie , I am now encouraged to read the book. Go and see this movie folks!

I loved this movie. I read the book first and fell in love with Skeeter and Abileen. Growing up in the South made it easy to believe this story and understand the trials and tribulations surrounding this era.

I can't say enough good things about the movie. The cast was amazing with equally amazing writing. My husband watched it with me and was surprised how much he liked it. Especially because it was a "chick flick".

I loved this movie!!! Me and my husband watched it together and we really enjoyed it. I am surprised that it was not nominated for an Ocsar! The movie had an amazing cast and the story told was excellent. I hope that they reconsider and nominate it.

Great movie. Unique storyline brought to life. Excellent acting. A little slow at parts, especially for those who have not read the book, but overall very enjoyable.
