This is an old show and I've watched it for years. I could never get tired of watching the re runs. Rose is so funny, Blanche is my girl, Sophia hangs on to her purse like my gma, and Dorothy is still smoothhhhh. Lol

This show was way before its time: these ladies were confident, feminist, opinionated, smart, funny, my first idea of adult friendships, financially independent, and strong. The show still popular today because it was well-written and the characters had a big age difference and were at a different point of their life so it was interesting to see their individual path and their sometimes difficult relationships because of their personal views and values. They were showing the ups and downs of everyday life and were telling it like it was - not sugar-coated and barely exaggerated. They were not always in agreement but they always worked things out and it was making them closer and stronger.

LOVE this show! It was wayy before my generation, and it still entertains my friends and I . We absolutely love this show, and watch it regularly. It encompasses family values, witty humor, and friendship in a show that most every woman can relate to. It was definitely an iconic show, and I wish more shows were like that on TV today.
