My maternal grandmother! She lived her life simply and mindfully! She raised 6 girls that turned out to be phenomenal women! My mom being the baby of the family. My grandmother always shared stories and quotes about her childhood to adulthood. I miss her immensely!

I think there are so many great women that inspire me. Maya Angelou was so full of wisdom. I would have loved to hear her speak.

“We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.”

My grandma always told me, "You can't sit around on your laurels waiting for things to happen, you have to get up and make them happen!"

Corrie Ten Boom. She hid people from the Nazis. Such a scary time and yet she stood firm. It's like the quote you mentioned by Rosa Parks, "You must never be fearful about what you are doing when it is right."

    I like this quotation:

“A woman is like a tea bag; you never know how strong it is until it's in hot water.”

    ― Eleanor Roosevelt

“The day will come when men will recognize woman as his peer, not only at the fireside, but in councils of the nation. Then, and not until then, will there be the perfect comradeship, the ideal union between the sexes that shall result in the highest development of the race.”– Susan B. Anthony [ This sums it up for me! ]
