Between smart phones, tablets and laptops, we all spend so much time on screens each day. Which is why the eighth prize in our 2016 #12DaysofSheSpeaks giveaways is so perfect!
It's two pairs of Phonetic Computer Eyewear - one for you and one for a friend (you each get to choose the pairs!). These glasses, which in both prescription and non-prescription, help prevent digital eye strain, but are stylish enough to wear all day long.
Normal life for most people these days involves a large amount of time staring at a screen. In fact, a study from Common Sense Media came out just last week that found that parents of American teens and tweens average more than nine hours of screen time every day. It's likely not much different for others. After a while, this starts to catch up with you in the form of headaches, tired eyes. neck pain, dry eyes, and blurred or double vision.
Phonetic Computer Eyewear is here to rescue us from eye strain. Phonetic Eyewear’s lenses reflect and absorb some of that annoying blue light put out by your computer or other device. They have many different styles and just the right amount of trend.

I'm an Office Manager so looking (working) at the screen is basically the main part of my job, lol! That's almost 40 hrs each week and then forget about the weekends! That's like an additional 10+ hrs. I do reduce the brightness on my screen though but oh my eyes.
I work on a computer at work plus I watch Netflix on my phone as well so I would say about 10 hours per day of screen time
This would be a godsend. I work 12-15 hours a day doing transcription, editing, and proofing, all screen time. The eyestrain is becoming unbearable! I could never afford these because my husband's company went out of business, so he lost his job. I'm supporting the whole family on my salary, which is sadly quite low. None of us has insurance anymore, either, so I fear for my eyes!
Easily 9-12 hrs a day computers, phones, work monitors, registers. That doesn't include the time new TV's and watching the news. Realizing it's everywhere, even the library or book store to do a look up.
10 plus hours a day for work alone
too much, i don't know exactly how many hours. at least 6?
I spend tooooo much time staring at a screen!
I spend about five hours a day looking at a screen and I really need some help for my eyes.
I am looking at a screen 8-12 hours a day minimum just for work! I have completely stopped wearing contacts for this reason.
At least 6 to 8 hours a day! These glasses would be a huge help for my eyes especially since my reading glasses are over 3 years old!
I hate to admit it but I'd say 6/12 waking hours is spent staring into a screen. Small one cell phone, monopolizes a lot of time, tablet, laptop, security monitors, and of course a smidge spent pretending to be normal and watch TV. The there are the children's endless something's I've just got to help or show perhaps fix with theirs, which by the way they have more screened gadgets and gizmos than I do. At least now I have a reason as to the visual changes I've noticed progressively worsening other than just blaming iron my age. I mean i only just turned 35, thanks SheSpeeks. I've been thinking my vision was based on that alone how naive.

I could definitely use these glasses as prescription glasses. I am constantly on a computer for work and on cell phone for personal use. Eye strain is a problem.
I spend quite some time in front of screens, especially since I always have my phone on me. 🙈 I'd say about 5-6 hours a day.
I have the tired writer eyes! These Phonetics would make my day and perhaps enhance my productivity!
