The perfect meal to warm you up in fall is a hearty bowl of soup. And many soups are quick to make. Take, for example, this Cheesy Vegetable Chowder submitted to our website by MyLittlePrincessK. It takes just 15 minutes to prep and is a complete all-in-one meal. This one is vegetarian, but feel free to add meat to it. Tip: buy a rotisserie chicken from the grocery store and it will take no extra time to add to the chowder.
When you are busy with activities, one-pot meals are the way to go. It's less time cooking -- and less time washing! Cooking in one-pot does not have to be boring. You can make all sorts of casseroles and stews. Or try this lamb skillet dinner from Hywelda9. With just 10 minutes of prep time, it's an easy meal that is sure to cheer you up this fall.
Another great option is to use a slow cooker to prepare dinner in advance. There are countless meal options you can put together in the morning, and it will be done at dinnertime. If you want chicken, try prepping the taco meat in the slow cooker, like dreampeddler does. All that's left to do at the end of the day is to heat up some tacos. Add whatever toppings you can grab from your fridge. Or for a one-pot slow cooker meal, try this beef stew from emimorgan, where your complete dinner is ready to eat.
Another stick-to-your bones meal that screams fall is chili. And because you can make chili so many different ways, you can serve it often without getting bored. If you want to try something other than the standard ground beef or turkey, check out kcchiefs's sweet potato chili, which is sweet, spicy and delicious! Make it in the slow cooker and dinner will be ready when you are.

I love making a quick pasta with fresh vegetables and a can of high quality olive oil-packed tuna.
My family loves pot roast with all the fixins: onion, celery, carrots and sweet potatoes. Quick and comforting for a delicious autumn evening meal.
i would love this to make soup for the winter, bone broth for my dogs and cook chicken. would be so easy and convenient to only use 1 pot. my favorite 1 pot meal is veggie/bean soup in the winter, with soup vegetables, 17 bean soup mix, canned tomatoes, garlic powder, pepper, onions, mushrooms, and some soup bones. just let simmer for several hours.
A pot of chili is a great meal for a cool fall day!
Love making crockpot beef chili.
This sounds like a great item to have! I love using s pressure cooker. The meat is always so tender!
Anything breakfast related I will have for dinner...
Instant pots are so awesome. I think they pay for themselves because you can easily make beans and cheaper cuts of meat turn out very tender and good. My favorite quick easy is chicken and fettuccine Alfredo. I use Barilla Pronto pasta so it is one pot and easy clean up too.
All of the food looks good
Taco soup would be great to make in this.
Would love to have a great slow cooker for the upcoming seasons. Nothing nicer than to come home after a long day to the smell of a delicious dinner ready to eat!
I like slow cooker chicken and rice...yumalicious
I have to say the best I have cooked in a slow cooker and would with this one is a pot roast!
My favorite quick and easy dinner is Taco Soup. It's more like a chili with taco flavor. It's a family favorite, served with cornbread it's very filling & satisfying.
