Do you plan to watch the Olympics this summer?

In August the 2008 Olympics will begin in Beijing. Beijing has been preparing for these Olympic games, developing its stadiums, cities and commerce for several years.

Years ago, it seemed that many waited with great excitement and anticipation of the Olympic games. So, as the 2008 Games grow closer, we are curious, do you plan to watch the games this summer?

Yes- but not as interested as usual (28.7%)

Yes- can't wait! (40.7%)

No (11.8%)

Not sure- depends on what else is on (18.7%)

    I love sports. My husband and I watch the NFL and we attend the games when we can afford to. It's exciting to watch sports and discuss it with the guys.

    With thier denial of human rights, occupation of Tibet,and the incredibe numbers of people displaced(violently so in many cases) so an Olympic Village could be thrown together, I have decided to boycott the games this year.I'mnot sure HOW China could have been chosen to hold the Summer games this year under the circumstances.

    Sports athletes should not have to suffer because of political issues. I look forward to follow the Olympics, especially the advertising and product placements arount the event. I am also interested in competitions in general.

    I agree totally with you!!! I will definatly NOT watch the Olympics ... by doing this - I hope to affect the corporate sponsers and $$$$ talks!!

    I plan to watch selected portions of the Olympics. I never watch all of it. I just watch everything that interests me.
