Which of these Mother's Day gifts would make you happiest this year?

Mother's Day is almost here.   Did you know that Mother's Day was conceived after the Civil War and initially intended as a call to unite women against war?   Mother's Day in the US has transformed into a day to give thanks to our mothers.

Which of the following gifts would you want to receive most this Mother's Day?

A day spent with your family/children (41.5%)

A day at the spa (40.5%)

I am a realist - my son is now a doctor who, with his wife and two newly-adopted toddlers (they really do love challenges), lives nearly 500 miles away. A day together is not possible right now; so some really good, organic dark chocolate would be nice.

My children and grandchildren all live at least a 3 hr drive away. Mother's Day will be special this year as we are driving 8 hours to be with my daughter, her husband and 2 yr old grandson and nearly 5 year old granddaughter. Nothing could be better unless I could be with all my children and grandchildren!

I am a single parent 5 days per week as my dh works second shift. I have my ds every day before and after school, I drive him to swim and baseball. What I want more than anything for mothers day is just some "me" time. I don't get time away from the family very often alone and it is always a nice time to just relax and not have to be wife and mom for a few hours.
