alienwoman can you come over to my house next time your really stressed ? lol .. Talking to my best buddy helps more than anything... I stay away from emotional eating as much as I can or I'd look like a barn...
I find that either exercise or doing a crossword for example both work well. The idea for me is to put my mind on something else.
Prayer and exercise always leaves me feeling better.
When Im stressed I usually turn to food, which is a big no no, but it helps sometimes. :)
My ideal way to get rid of stress is to pray then get my mind on something else.
I like to use my treadmill when Im stressed out, I feel like I am walking away from my problems and leaving them in the dust
Usually I call my best friend when stressed out, we call this Venting.
I always discuss things with family and friends as they always make me feel better with advice and cheerful sayings. Always works for me.
