What do you plan to spend for Valentine's Day this year?

Valentine’s Day is around the corner.  Will this be another holiday where our shrinking wallets speak?!   Are you planning to celebrate?  Will you be spending less this year?

    Small gifts for the grandkids and hopefully a meal out ANYWHERE just as long as I don't have to cook for a change!

    Last year we had a very new baby. She was born on January 25th. Our baby was in the hospital and came home the the day before Valentines Day. So we did not do anything for Valentines Day at all. So this year I have to catch up. Although I did give him the best gift ever....our Daughter.

    With the "wonderful" economy the way it is, I want to ease the stress put on my husband this year. This year my husband and I will have a little contest. We will see who can pull of the most romantic day. I plan on making my husband his favorite breakfast complete with the newspaper and serve it all to him in bed. I know he won't wake up before me so I totally have this!! I have a few other surprises up my sleeve but, they will be my secret for now!!!! : )

    We'll exchange cards, and just spend the evening home together. That's how we like it, keeping it from the heart.

    now that I am working and we have extra income, I am really looking Foward to surprising hubby w/ a "guy's" ultimate Valentine's...Shooting range in the AM, lunch at the club & dinner w/ his 2 fave ladies...me & my lil girl...happy v-day to all...

    We usually splurge on sushi every Valentine's, since it's me and my husband's favorite dish. However this year, we'll just spend time with the kids - go on a hike, have a picnic, then come home to make brownies.

    Don't have a valentine this year. Might just get myself some chocolate though.

    With hubby being one of the many laid off, our day will be very low key! No flowers, no dinners out. Instead we'll be creative and make a nice meal at home, and simply spend some quality time together.

    I ONLY BUY FOR THE KIDS. SON, NEPHEWS AND NIEICES. MY SON HAS A GIRLFRIEND THIS YR. SO I WILL GET HER SOMETHING TOO. I GO TO WALMART AND GET THOSE LITTLE HEART BOXES. THE KIDS LOVE THEM.
