With so many offers and gift suggestions on TV, in magazines and in stores, have you taken time to think about what you would really like this year? Perhaps you will treat yourself with a little reward for a year of hard work. For others something money can't buy is much more appealing at the end of a busy year.
Which of the the gifts topped your list? Why?
A piece of jewelry (5.1%)
More time with your family (18.2%)
A vacation/getaway (36.2%)
A gift card that you can use anywhere (33.1%)
More time to yourself (7.5%)
Gift card let you buy things I wouldn't necessarily splurge on. They also let you buy things you need so you don't get those unwanted gifts you don't know what to do with.
I'd love to have an open-ended gift card that I could use for coffee, for magazines, for chocolate or even a manicure. That would definitely be the best holiday gift!
Oh, it would be so nice to get away from the everyday grind!!
I love to get gift cards, so I can decide when and how to use it. I may decide to purchase something for myself or I might buy my son something.
A family vacation would be wonderful. I don't like receiving gift cards because it just someone handing me cash (of course when I was young cash was all I wanted). But, now that I'm older, to me a gift is more about the thought than the actual gift itself and it doesn't even take a thought to swing by CVS and pick up a gift card.
I buy for myself all the time so a thoughtful, beautiful piece of jewelry would be really nice.
Gift cards are Greeaaattt!
I would love to go on a cruise to a beautiful warm location in the dead of winter with my husband.
i love gift cards because i don't really get things for myself i spend them on things i need for my 4 & 6 year old
I'll have vacation memories forever so its the gift that keeps on giving. There's nothing like some together time for my sweety and me preferably somewhere warm and sunny!!
