I love to use coupons however, my local supermarkets have adopted a policy of not allowing internet/computer generated coupons. Does anyone else have this problem and how do you get around it? Thanks,

I save coupons and thoroughly read the sale ads looking for the best deal. I try to find ways to make my dollar stretch the farthest without breaking the bank, so I look for as many deals as possible.

I use promotion codes too. They are easy and with free shipping during the holidays you can usually find a code for discount plus one to stack with free shipping.

I always look for coupons or on line promos. What ever it takes. Wait for a sale.

I shop sales, and try to buy far in advance for the best sales, or buy right AFTER Christmas (best sales)... family doesn't care when they get it, especially if a promise of a gift is noted in a card. I've also been known to use those gift cards people give you, to buy gifts for others... a win-win situation in my opinion.

I've found that it can really be a combination. When my husband and I decided to purchase a new television, we researched the lowest price that it had ever been listed and set our goal below that. We went to the store during a big tv sale , armed with a percent-off coupon and spoke with the salesperson. We haggled a bit and were able to get an extra $150 off in addition to the 10% off coupon we brought with us. It really pays to do research on what a good price would be, and then try to get a deal below that price.
