Do you plan to watch the Olympics this summer?

In August the 2008 Olympics will begin in Beijing. Beijing has been preparing for these Olympic games, developing its stadiums, cities and commerce for several years.

Years ago, it seemed that many waited with great excitement and anticipation of the Olympic games. So, as the 2008 Games grow closer, we are curious, do you plan to watch the games this summer?

Yes- but not as interested as usual (28.7%)

Yes- can't wait! (40.7%)

Not sure- depends on what else is on (18.7%)

    I will watch the olympics this year with my 8 year uld nephew. I have him 5 and 6 days a week while his daddy works, and he is very interested in getting to watch the olympics.

    I can't wait for the Olynpics to start next week. I always look forward to finding out more about the athletes and their background stories. Its really inspiring to see these persons at the apex of their careers and to participate in a worldwide event.

    sure I'll watch them but I have 2 kids under the age of 2 so I don't know how much of it I will be seeing. If one of our regular shows is on then I will prob. watch more of that instead.

    I am boycotting these Olympic games because they are being held in China. China should not be rewarded with the games while they continue to deny people of their basic human rights.

    I enjoy watching the summer olympics. I kike the winter ones much better, but i'll be watching what I can.

    I love that they are giving real life info on the athletes and their journey

    I may watch some of the events. I have mixed emotions about them being in China with that country's pollution problems, work ethics, and some of the political activities.

    There are always such amazing stories that come out of this level and type of competition - I love the idea of sharing the excitement, pride, and commitment to effort with my son. We'll catch as much of the Olympics as we reasonably can.
