I'm not much of a dairy person is all, never was a big milk-drinker but lately I've been noticing how much calcium I don't intake. So now I'm trying to up my plain yogurt intake and maybe half a glass of milk a day. I'm hoping it will help with lowering all those risks that come with not taking calcium.
I turned 40 and I don't think I drink enough milk with my diet. I'm doing my best to change this since I do not want to face osteoporosis.
I make sure to take greens or milk products regularly. Making sure your Vitamin D levels are good is important.
I have osteopenia from taking the steroids for ms. Since taking an increase in Calcium and vitamin D, my muscles don't get as sore.
vitamin D should be taken with Calcium to aid in absorption. Vitamin D will help prevent MS.

I have never worried about my calcium intake because I get most of it from my diet and my bones seem to be pretty strong. I am not sure about the supplements if they would do any good if people don't eat balanced anyway.
I am very concerned about my calcium intake. I try to drink milk, eat yogurt etc, but I'm afraid it's not enough. I've tried calcium supplements, but they all make me gassy!
