What's your favorite way to celebrate Halloween?

Halloween is still over a month away. But you and your kids may already be looking forward to this festive fall holiday. What are some of your favorite ways to celebrate Halloween? Do you make your own costumes? Try new types of candy? Get involved with neighborhood parties or events at your kids’ schools?

Dress up in a costume and hand out candy to trick or treaters (42.2%)

    It's all about the kids for me. They are so much fun that night.

    Our extended family gets together a few days before Halloween to carve pumpkins and show off our costumes. Then we have a contest and everyone votes for the winning pumpkin in each category. It's a ton of fun!

    I have always loved Halloween. For one its my fathers Birthday!!! So as a child growing up we always celebrated Halloween and it was fun dressing up on my fathers Birthday..Still to this day I love this , simply celebrating, decorating, dressing up, and baking Halloween treats with the kids.... They love it too,,I still tease my dad on HAlloween, before he retired I would dress up in costume and go visit him on his job with his Birthday present....

    I love celebrating with kids and friends so we do parties at home. I feel it's safer that way.

    halloween's a blast love seeing the kids in their costumes and the reaction they get when I open my door in mine.....TRICK OR TREAT

    I love to hand out candy to trick or treaters. I'm very petite and have given some thought as to trick or treating myself. Last year a little boy asked me if I was grown up!!!

    Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. Every year we have a costume party and invite all of our neighbors and friends. The house is decorated with props that I made throughout the year. I love to search on the internet for new inspiring decorations to add to our collection.

    I'm 25 yrs old but I still enjoy dressing up in costumes with my son and going to parties. I don't care what people think, It's halloween, have fun with it :)

    This is the best time of year to spoil the kids in the neighborhood--we buy full-sized candy bars and even give candy to the parents. We want them to know we think they're great and are glad to have them as neighbors!
