I live in Texas, and while the H1N1 is a very important topic, right now my family's financial state and finding a job far more important. We need to stop and think about our financial state in case one of our family members does become seriously ill. Right now neither my husband or I have a job and we are living off of savings. We don't have health insurance. Everyday we are submitting applications and working on our resumes. It's very hard.

Hi, i absoulutely cannot afford to get sick with the H1N1 flu, but i refuse to get the shot, or nose spray. This H1N1 vaccine has not been studied long enough to know the long term side effects. they actually said that they don't know the potential side effects as of yet. I'll take my chances and continue to get the regular flu shot. Remember to wash hands and use Lysol disinfectant spray.

As a busy working mom supporting my child and husband (due to him being out of work) there are lots of things constantly on my mind. I don't give much thought to swine flu - i feel it's been somewhat blow out of proportion by teh media - there are many other things that i'm likely to die of before the swine flu. Finances are a constant concern, as is healthcare since i don't receive insurance through my job. My child's wellbeing and health goes without saying.. I'm also desperate for a vacation, working on a job promotion and wondering how we're going to afford the upcoming holidays!

I had to retire at 37 due to health issues and I worry about healthcare cost for myself and my family . I also really worry about my 10 yr old stepson who has aspergers and how he gets along on a day to day basis with others and in school. Take care everyone!

I picked health care because I am wiorried that our government will make a very expensive mistake. People from other countrys often come here to get our great health care.

I constantly have my daughter on my mind our health insurance, and financial situation. My husband has a great job and our insurance is awful. My daughter is "developmentally delayed" a/k/a no one can figure out what is going but are confident she is not autistic and the insurance company has taken it upon itself to deny paying for OT and speech services because they are "experimental". I am so tired of spending my days on the phone with them and trying to figure which doctor I should bring her to next that may have the answers we need.
