I'm already on Facebook. I don't know anyone that uses Twitter or enough about it to want to try it.

I love it! I have over 800 updates on mine already. I find it fun and easy to stay connected with my friends, and see what they're up to. I think it can venture into privacy invasion if you dont think about what you're writing. But you can control who sees it, and obviously you are the one typing this stuff, so its your fault if you get too personal. As for the people who "dont get" why you'd want to post "every detail" of your life online... its not every detail. Its something like "getting my hair done, should i go red or blonde?" or "damn my car broke down, anyone able to help me out" or something simple as "reading this new book i got, you all should check it out". I also like it because I know what my friends have been up to, so when we hangout we can just talk about what we already know, such as "So how was that concert you went to last week?". Its fun.

I tried it. I still think FB is better. I find Twitter a little odd. It's like stripping FB down to just your status. FB actually let's you connect to people from your past (which I've loved) Twitter seems like it's just for marketing purposes of celebrities, concerts, and TV shows....not for the common folk.

I've been using Twitter since it's infancy and it has really come a long way since then. There was almost no one that you had ever heard of to follow when it began. I think Shaquille ONeal, Ashton Kutcher, Ellen DeGeneres & me were the first to use Twitter. lol It can become addictive when you're constantly trying to keep up with all of the new postings, depending on the amount of people you are following and how often they update. If you're like me and you already have "hotmail" account (i have 3 hotmail accts.), a "gmail" account, an "att.yahoo" account, a " facebook" (closed "myspace") & "Twitter" - (along with "Tweetdeck") to try to keep up with it can drive you crazy!!! But then you can put Twitter & facebook on Tweetdeck and they're on one screen. Now people are using "ping" - to post to Twitter. Now I'm confused!!!!!
