I think it's a great oscar year - all the movies up for an award are AWESOME. I feel personally invested in some of these people winning :). My only problem is that i hate it when the same person wins 1,000 awards!

dinburg why waste time watching the Hollywood Hypocrites? I wonder if they invite the welfare recipients to one of their mansions for Thanksgiving Dinner??? ummmm what a thought!

Considering the fact that I've watched for more than 50 years there's a good chance I'll be on the couch, critiquing the fashions and rooting for the flicks I love.

I cannot stand awards shows of any kind! I will not be watching the Oscars.

I like to watch the red carpet beforehand just to see the amazing dresses, makeup and hairstyles. I can find out the winner online late that night or early the next day so I can skip the boring parts of the awards.

I like to see the oscars to see which star worked to earn it. I like to see best and worst dressed and to see if who I picked wins.

I don't usually watch them. I don't really have time. I work in a bar/restaurant on 2nd shift,so I'm usually at work. I don't like the watch the whole thing because it is usually sooooo long, especially the acceptance speeches, thanking tons of people that I have no clue who they are. But I do have some interest. I usually read online who won and check out the best/worst dressed, etc.

I love watching the red carpet fashion show. I think the Oscars is also a great way to find out what movies to watch (if I haven't already seen them).
