Do you plan to file a tax extension this year?

Its that time of the year again! The time we all dread- April 15th! The average US tax payer spent 24.2 hours preparing their tax return in 2007.   That is equal to over 3.1 billion hours spent preparing tax returns in the US alone!

With so much time and energy spent on taxes, we were curious how many people were planning to file tax extensions this year.

Do you plan to file an extension this year?

Yes (9.8%)

No (90.2%)

With so many products available to file taxes like quickbook, Turbo tax, Even online thru the IRS there isnt realy a reason not to file before deadline. We filed ours ( turbotax) and got refund back with in 10 days. Very nice, easy, and handy.

Like so many others, I already filed. Don't like waiting to the last moment. We did owe a few dollars, so it didn't make any difference to put it off.
