4 of my 5 aunts got breast cancer in their 40's so I get my mammograms done ever year. I'm not sure how each was detected, but with the family history I would suspect it was by self-examination.
Mammogram - have one scheduled for tomorrow!

Self exam is how I found a lump
A yearly mammogram is a MUST!! Also, self exam is important. I had a friend that found a small lump that didn't show up on the mammo.
