We make vacation a priority in my family. Each year is tougher and prices are always going up but we make a point to take a vacation every year. We have a budget and we stick to it so we can ensure that it happens every year. It's our mental break much needed to keep our health.

I'm sick of having to make life decisions at the gas pump. Everything has skyrocketed, except the pay rate (Louisiana). I'm a college student and for the past year, I'm tired of budgeting and not treating myself. A big part of me is saying, "Forget it and have a weekend of fun on some sexy beach." Make me feel good.

Don't have any vacation plans to cut back on--DH is in Iraq and I'm not toting the kids on a 'vacation' by myself. So while there won't be a vacation it's not because of the economy.

My husband and I both drive low gas mileage vehicles, but gas prices are still a factor. It does take a little more $$ to fill up the tank these days! We have some small trips planned for the summer, but don't intend to leave the state.

We recently moved to TN from FL and there is so much to do and see here! We may be going to Fl to visit Family later in the year but for the summer it is nice to just be in a different climate and we still have a lot of exploring to do here.

Every summer a bunch of us go to OBX for two weeks, here's the problem this year, it is an 8hr drive and with the gas prices and the amount of cars/trucks we take we are now not going. It seems like the cost of gas is going to be more then the house would have been.

We have no trips planned this year due to the high gas prices. We have a 5 wheel trailer and it is too expensive to fill up the truck and go somewhere. Getting to work is hard enough.....
