Spring is well underway and it seems like so many of us like to "brighten" our look after the long and dark winter! So, we were curious, just how many of us actually highlight our hair?
Whether you do it to cover grey, brighten up your own color or to completely change color, we were curious, do you color or highlight your hair? Why?
Yes- I usually do it myself with home hair color products (50.5%)
Yes- I usually go to a salon for a stylist to do (28.5%)
No- I do not color or highlight my hair (11.6%)
Not yet, but I'm thinking about it (9.3%)
I do it myself also. It turns out just fine and I have money left over in my pocket.
I've been doing it for 25 years. It's so cheap at $3 a bottle that I can color more often so my roots never show. Most products are now ammonia free. My hair is super shiney and not damaged so people often ask me if it's real. I even dye my own eyebrows!
I do it myself, I can't see spending lots of money to get it done professionally. It lasts just as long as if I went to a salon and the cost is much cheaper.
Oh yeah,, I've been doing my own coloring and hi liting for years. Actually , doing hair has been my true callimg ,but I stayed at home and raised my three children instead ,which I am really glad I did !!!
At home with all natural products
I did for 5 years then decided to go natural....much, much cheaper and still looks good.
I love to have it done by my stylist, but cannot afford it every time! I use the best products on the market when I do it myself, but I think salon products have longer lasting results and don't fade out as fast.
I have only had my hair dyed at a salon three times and each time it did not come out as nice as it does when I do it myself at home for a fraction of the price!
I do my own at home,to cover all the grey.lol
My husband colors my hair for me. I think it's very romantic that he takes the time to do this for me. I have only been coloring it for the past few months. I've never colored it myself. I guess I could, but why would I want to with my Honey willing to do it for me.
