New black knee high boots! I found the perfect pair, but unfortunately for me they were $678 (on sale!).
Finally free of a controlling husband and a bad marriage, so I am finding myself again after 10 years of trying to be what he thought I should be, instead of the free spirit artistic type I am. And hunting for bargains on beautiful clothes that are all ME is fun and healing.
I so want this fall "cape" I saw on Kara, a member of the Seventeen Magazine Style Council. It sounds crazy, but, besides it being so orginal, it's charcoal gray- my favorite color- compliments any shape, and somehow manages to look trendy! I love it! It's totally crazy and totally me!
I'm trying shed some pounds then I can add clothes to my shopping list again.
Going through a divorce after 20yrs together and I have to buy all new stuff.
Being that it"s the start of a new school year and still hot outside, my children still have cool summer clothes that are in good condition and appropriate to wear to school. This frees up money for more school supplies. With the state of the economy, we are looking for every possible way to stretch everything, dollars included.
I've learned to be more content. Since I use the clothes that I have already, I enjoy reusing, mix matching, and washing them whenever it's full enough. I'm also budgeting on the supplies for my career as my husband and I are trying to save for a house. Being a new wife, I am endeavoring to learn more of the real rules in sports. My husband and I bought bikes for a really cheap price on Craigslist, and we were excited to use them with our new helmets and seat pads.
This year is the first year in 3 years that my daughter does not have to wear uniforms. For that reason, it's most exciting for us for her to pick out her clothes to express her style. We have been having a blast.
I am a widow with grandchildren and I watch as my daughters struggle to gettheir school supplies, clothes and other things. I also do a lot of sewing, so every little bit helps.
