What's your favorite way to celebrate Halloween?

Halloween is still over a month away. But you and your kids may already be looking forward to this festive fall holiday. What are some of your favorite ways to celebrate Halloween? Do you make your own costumes? Try new types of candy? Get involved with neighborhood parties or events at your kids’ schools?

    past the trick or treating stage of my life, plus it is too dangerous out there today!!!

    Dress up & hand out candy to trick or treaters while eating loads of candy myself.

    Halloween is my holiday! I look forward to it all year because it is the only holiday that is purely about fun (my son is 8) for us . At Christmas I stress over $, decorations, and seeing family. Thanksgiving is lots of cooking and cleaning up and good manners. But Halloween we order pizza and trick or treat dress up and eat candy til we are nausous!

    I love Halloween because it represents the Fall season. I love the smells, the falling leaves and the anticipation of the holidays and baking to come

    I love watching the children enjoying halloween. I am a mom that likes to participate in the passing out of candy as well as going to the festivals with the kids.

    I love dressing up and going to a party or two after handing out candy to kids in the neighborhood. If there are not parties, then I volunteer at elementary schools for their halloween carnivals (and I still get to dress up)

    One of my favorite holidays! I think I have more Halloween decorations then Christmas. We love to host a party, take the kids trick-or-treating and pass out candy!

    Since having my son, Halloween is so much more fun. We still get to dress up, but now we have a good reason to dress up our little guy and go out and have some fun!
