Recently we’ve noticed a lot of product reviews on SheSpeaks inspired by beauty products advertised on television. Some of these "as seen on TV" products include "Strap Perfect," the bra strap eliminator, "Bumpits," the hair accessory that gives volume to the crown of the head, and "Smooth Away," the all-over hair remover.
We are curious to know what you think of products advertised on TV in the form of an infomercial. Are they too hard of a sell? Or, do the product demonstrations persuade you to buy? We’d love to hear about the items you’ve bought and if you’ve been satisfied with your purchase!

No, I don't trust products advertised on TV (9.3%)
I got the Ped Egg and love it! Also the thing that does caulking was great. My favorite was the Bare Escentials Makeup! I got that a long time ago and continue to use that brand.
I have purchased MANY items seen in TV from beauty products. to pet products to household products (ie a hand held steam cleaner) and altough many are as advertised, there have been some that were not even close to what they promised. I too found the PED EGG to be a great deal and I love the E-Z combs however, Smoothaway was not a success as for me!
I purchased a chopper and I was so unhappy it was included in themy spring garage sale.
I purchased an as seen on TV product and liked it very much an would purchase again.
I don't watch infomercials. Usually just see an item in passing when changing channels. Typically I will see the advertised product at Bed Bath and Beyond and evaluate it at the store.
I have purchased several infomercial items though not all throught the informercial. I love my pedegg and bought it at the local Walgreens. I also use the shark steam mop and the "Rockin' Body" workout series is really wonderful. My husband even noticed the difference after only a couple of weeks.
I purchased a hair product from an infomercial and the product left my hair limp and greasy. I phoned the customer service and after a brief chat the product was returned and the substitute was grand. Thank goodness for good customer service reps!!!
Most of the things I buy that are "as seen on TV" come from a store that sells those products so I don't have to pay S&H. I really love my Ped Egg!!!
I purchased the fluidity workout system. I had done the bar method and wanted to find a cheaper way to obtain the same results. I was really impressed with it!
I bought the Ped Egg at Walgreen and saved on shipping. I love it. It works extremely well. My feet are so soft.
