It is probably too early to make a decision on whether is doing a good job or not. However, if you take a look at your investments - 401K, etc., it is tanking. Hopefully, things will settle down soon and the stock market will survive.

So far I am pleased with all he is trying to accomplish. Yes, I voted for him and pray he can at least begin to get this country back to being the productive and proud country we used to be. These last eight years have been devastating to all. I lost my job in November after 9 years due to a sale of our division in the parent company. I am the only supporter of a family of 5. Things will begin to change slowly in the right direction, it will not be immediate but at least he is sticking to his promises to get us out if this hole. What did Bush accomplish for the average citizen during his eight years? Your answer: Nothing,he was voted the 7th worst president in the U.S. history.

I just don't think the bail-out is going the way it should. They are using our tax dollars to save what? The irresponsible banks, realtors, and homeowners? I just don't understand it. I know times are bad, but how bad are they really when the stadium was packed full of people during the super bowl? Why doesn't Barack Obama take money from the pro-sports people or actors and give it to teachers if he is so focused on education?

Right now I have to say I am just sitting back watching. At first all seem do to a few things they promise and than things start to change so we will see what happens.

President Barack Obama has only been in office for a little more than a month so I am still looking forward to the things he will accomplish. He has a positive outlook while trying to clean up a huge mess. This is going to take time. I think it is important to support our government leaders in times like these and believe they have our best interest at heart. Thinking in a negative way is not healthy for anyone and does not accomplish anything.

So far I am unimpressed. We should all be tired of hearing about the "mess that he was handed". Obama has been an elected to government official state and federal level since 1996, and has been always dubbed a liberal by his peers. If he was handed a mess it was one that he helped to create. His posture on all of the recent bailouts is taking us down the wrong path entirely. Spending bill? It seems that the problems with wasteful spending are being perpetuated. So far the mistakes outweigh any perceived accomplishments, and I certainly hope that the balance shifts. We as a nation have a vested interest in insuring the success of this administration regardless of whether it was our choice at the polls, and hopefully the administration will listen and we will find a way to work together toward a successful outcome.
