The New Year is almost here, do you plan to make a New Year's resolution?

I'm more likely to break New Year's resolutions that ones that I make on my own on any other day.

I am not making any resolutions. I'm just planning on enjoying the new year and hoping for good things to come.

they say its best to make small goals, i read some place you should never say u want to lose weight for a goal, it shouldn't take a holiday to make you want to do that. i guess to each is there own :)

I'll try to live in the moment and not worry as much. Of course eating healthy and getting in exercise. Seems like the same plans I make every year.

I basically want to live a happier life. I worry too much and I stress about stupid little things that eat up a lot of time and emotional space. I want to be better to myself and, in turn, better to those around me. The last three months of 2008 could have been REALLY bad ones for me with an almost absurd succession of really bad things (robbed, laid off, etc.) happening back to back, but I managed to keep my sense of humor (I did get really sad sometimes, but I recovered) and perspective on what WASN'T happening. I want to take those lessons into the new year and remember to not freak out over the little things so much (broken electronics, lost keys, minor disagreement, etc.) 2009 will be a good year. That's my resolution.

I always seem to vow to lose weight, quit smoking, be more active, etc. For some reason those vows never quite make it to fruition. One of these days though....I'm gonna get it all done!!
