Money is so tight that unless we have to have it, we don't buy it. We have cut back on extras just so we can afford to feed our pets because getting rid of them is not an option. The economy is sickening, yet we arent in a recession...what a joke! I want politicians to live like many of us do for 6 months and see how they feel at the end of it. Sorry for the rant, but I am fed up!

Prices have increased by me about 10-20%. It's really getting hard make sure the bills are paid. I mean we aren't starving but there's a lot of pasta and cheaper meats. Instead of buying the name brand we've switched to store brand but now it seems like they're almost the same price!

If there was all above that would of been my choice also, the way this economy is,its hard to buy anything, I am on disability and i am lucky i can get what i have to and there are times that i can't even do that, thanks to the freebie site that i can also request free samples of items, things have to change and also with the xmas season coming thats really hard also, i had to cut back alot on who gets what and if they get any thing, but its better to receive than to give and my family understands that i can't do it but the little ones will still get something small so this means i will also have to give something up to get them something for the holidays. i really hope things start getting better soon, to bad we all did not get a part of that bailout instead of the people that did this mess.

I chose big box retailers like Home Depot. We have chosen perennials instead of annuals for our garden for the past few years, a little at a time, so now they come back every year and there is no need to spend money on new flowers in spring and fall every year for the garden. In addition, we joined the Home Depot Garden Club which email us coupons for buy one get one free bulbs and shrubs and perennials to save even more.

Since it has gotten really bad with gas for heating and the car I also had to cut corners. I shop with coupons and do rebates alot. I also shop at home depot but only shop when there is no interest for a year. That is one great way to use your money wise. You can't afford to dish out the money at one time but you can pay it monthly and not pay no interest.

I would be not spending my money at a big department store if I were conserving my money.

If there was all above that would have been my choice also, the way this economy is,its hard to buy anything.

I use coupons and rebates and look at all flyers and sales papers before I buy anything, so I can match up coupons with what is on sale for getting the better price and see if they are rebates to offer on the products I do buy. I only go to town once a week to save on Gas.

I go to all the free sample sites and get all the samples I can get to save a few dollars on thing that we use on a regular basis.
